Doctor of Psychopathology, University of Paris. He teaches in Higher Education (University of West Attica, Seminar Lecturer at the Athens School of Fine Arts, Greek Art Theatre Karolos Koun).
He has written books of scientific and philosophical content, university textbooks as well as literary books. President of "The Society of Studies of Cultural Alterity" (https://www.empealterity.com/ https://empe-alterity.blogspot.com/) and collector of the largest collection of ritual masks in the world focusing on the relationship between psychopathology and anthropology. Part of the collection is exhibited periodically. He has been particularly involved in psychoanalysis and the philosophy of image as well as the relationship between art and psychopathology.
He has given a large number of lectures, radio and television broadcasts and has also participated in a large number of conferences and collective volumes. Curator of art exhibitions and events, book presentations and theater reviews.
He is the scientific director of the essay series Plagios and the series Photocosmos, about image, of Papazisis Publications. Member of AICA International (International Association of Art Critics), the Hellenic Society of Aesthetics (EEA), the Hellenic Philosophical Society (EFE), etc.
